WHERE TO REPORT

The event is held at the Frederick Fairgrounds located at 797 East Patrick Street, Frederick, MD. Arrive at the Volunteer Check-In desk at least 15 minutes prior to your assigned shift. You will need time to park (parking is the same as patrons of the event), locate the Volunteer Check-In desk (in Building 8), get your T-shirt and get to your assigned area. Don’t forget to allow time for traffic in the area. Volunteers are provided food and drink during their shift in our Volunteer Support Area.​

A FEW RULES

You must wear your cool volunteer T-shirt and name badge while you’re volunteering. By law, you may not drink alcohol while wearing your T-shirt and volunteering. We will have a private area for you to change your shirt or you can use one of the restrooms. ​

WE LOVE GROUPS

We love groups who want to volunteer. We try our best to keep your group together and in some places, we can take volunteers as young as 14. If you have a group that is interested, please reach out to volunteerme@frederickoktoberfest.org.
